29/06/06 - V-viz wins contract for 3D inline inspection of burgers

One of the UK's leading automated packaging line manufacturers awarded V-viz the contract to supply them with a complete 3D machine vision inspection system for the inline inspection of frozen burgers. Recognising V-viz's experience and expertise in supplying robust solutions     V-viz was selected and awarded the contract because of its proven ability to engineer, deploy and support proven solutions. Burgers will be inspected continuously across a 690mm conveyor at a line speed of 40 mtrs/min with the system inspecting for shape, size and thickness against pre-determined thresholds. The system will be installed and commissioned early August.
